I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was my coach at the SEBC after I joined in 1959. He saw the potential in a young awkward boy and gave me confidence to accomplish my dreams. Later, after I received a scholarship from the club, went to school and became a lawyer, then judge, Jim had the audacity to ask me to officiate basketball when he was assigning for the WWBOA.He believed in giving back. I'm still following in his officiating footsteps after 20 years.
