One of my Best Memories with my Mom is when the Power would go out in the Winter time or the Wind would blow when we lived in Bothell. Mom and I would be the only one's home with the little one's, Shannon and Jaymie, they would be sleeping and we would light candles and turn on the transistor radio and we would play cards at the kitchen table. We would talk about everything. She would ask me if I was doing alright and if there was anything bothering me as of late. I would tell her about school, friends, and anything that was troubling me or things that were making me happy. This was always "Our" time to catch up. She used this time to give me her undivided attention and we would laugh and cry and she would take my hands in her's and tell me that I was strong enough to get through anything that came my way, God wouldn't give me anymore than I could handle and to learn something from each experience that came to me. I remember this every time I get knocked down and have to get back up. I Love You Mom, I will Never Forget I Promise.
