Yukiko “Yuki” Suyetsugu
Was born February 22, 1933
And passed away June 16, 2014

Yuki was born and raised in Tacoma WA to Masako and Takaichi Oasda.

Her siblings: Takeshi, Chieko-deceased, Hideko, Takeo, Masao, Kiyoshi “Kiyo”-deceased, Margaret and Tadachi “Tachi”-deceased.

Yuki and her siblings all attended Tacoma Schools. Yuki attended Central Elementary, McCarver Jr High and graduated from Lincoln High School.

Yuki met Kenji Suyetsugu. They married in Reno and moved to San Francisco, where they lived with their beloved pets. Over the years they loved birds, dogs- Dobermans and cats. Yuki attended two years of college and worked as an accountant in an Art Store. Yuki and Ken lived happily in San Francisco for over 50 years.

After Ken’s death in 2000, Yuki returned to Tacoma. She bought a house with Jeanne.

Yuki loved crafting, knitting, crocheting, BINGO, traveling, water aerobics, lunches and activities at the Senior Center. and old movies. She loved a wide variety of music from Josh Grobran, Chicago, Kenny Rogers, to Al Greene. She enjoyed attending Il Divo concerts.

Yuki was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenji, her sister Chieko, and two of her brothers, Kiyo and Tachi.

She is survived by her siblings: Takeshi, Hideko, Takeo. Masao, Margaret and her Uncle Joe (Manabu) & Auntie Evelyn Jinguji. Brother-in-law Tommy, and sister-in-laws Emiko and Keiko. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held on Sunday June 29th at 1:00 PM officiated by Rev Kojo Kakihara at Tacoma Mausoleum and Mortuary. 5302 South Junett Tacoma WA 98409.
