I wanted to share the fact that Manon was a great help to me when I was pregnant with my daughter, Genea. Genea's father went off of the deep end when I became pregnant and virtually abandoned me. He went on a destructive hiatus, only coming around when he felt like it. I was left alone without a car, money, or phone. Manon was the person who offered to get me to my doctor appointments and birthing classes. I do believe she was my only friend to be there when I was in labor! I will try to send the picture later as I am at work right now. I have a funny picture of Manon giving Genea, who was under a month old, a bath. Manon was a good friend to me and we had many good times. I'll never forget how upset and worried she got when she was with me after I had been drinking and was trying to stay away from Bob. He actually jumped in my passenger side window of my Mustang as I was trying to speed away from him. She pleaded with me to pull over before he got hurt. I probably drove a mile with him hangling partly outside my car! I can still see her face!
