Remembering Kelly McGee

I worked with Kelly McGee for 9 Years at Lockheed Martin on Milstar in supporting management roles.  Kelly was a very honest and caring individual, we worked through many crises together.  After my Wife's and my retirement from Lockheed Martin in 2001, we kept in touch with Kelly.  He visited us in Coupeville WA, to check out what we had designed into our new home to see if he wanted to incorporate anything we had done into his construction project in Gig Harbor.  A few years later Kelly retired and held a very wet ground breaking party which we attended.  He held this commemorative party almost every year since, which we always attended.  He even allowed us to share his garage with our 1999 FRC Corvette several times.  He bought his 1999 Ferrari almost the same time as we bought our used car.  We were able to meet his close Friends and Family which were all special.  Kelly would visit us several times to attend our party's and Mussel Festivals.

It is very difficult to believe he is gone!  He talked to us about his 70 Mile bike marathon he was going to participate in when he turned 70, in 2016.

We will really miss Kelly as he was a True Lockheed Family Member!

Rest in peace Kelly,

Barry & Kathy Rix
