John (Rusty) Edward Sawyer Jr. was taken too young on February 21, 2016 in University Place, Washington. God graced the world with Rusty’s presence for 55 years. Rusty along with both of his children, was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Rusty traveled the country and the world as an army kid and a service member. He enjoyed his Army career and being an auto mechanic. He also enjoyed meeting his first and only wife Carolyn whom he had 2 children with. Although life moved into a different direction for these two they remained best friends. Rusty later met Gabrielle and his 2 step daughters and shared a blended family life with all listed above and below.
Rusty is survived by 2 children: Allison Rose and John Lawrence; 2 step children: Falon and Mallory Boole; 11 grandchildren John David, Emily, Janette, Winter, Kassidy, Kennedy, Julia, Johnny, Savion, Cannon and Ella. Rusty is also survived by his brother Scott. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother Pa and Mittie, his father John (Jack) and sister Tory.
Rusty was a kind hearted soul that helped any and everyone. His sweetness and willingness to be there was amazing. He touched so many hearts and will be missed by so many.
