July 14, 2014 Jeffrey "JJ" Hentz was in a drowning accident at Island Lake in Poulsbo, WA. Two days later peacefully passed on in the arms of his mother.
He will be in our hearts forever. A bubbly and energetic little boy with an old soul, he touched the hearts of those who knew him well. From the very beginning of his life, JJ was a fighter. He fought for his life as an infant and won and continued to fight the rest of his life. JJ struggled with Aspergers, a form of Autism, among other sensory and health issues. His strength and perseverance to overcome obstacles was a quality those closest to him admired. The love and generosity JJ had in his heart was something to be admired. He would do anything for those he loved, including giving favorite items of his to cousins to make them happy, or leaving lists of reasons why he loved his mom and sister around...for them to see.
