Obituary for Janice Kay Lammert

Janice Kay Lammert
After a brief illness, Janice passed away on 1/8/2014. She was born in Spokane, WA on 10/1/1954 to Fred and Mina Lammert. Janice graduated from Washington High School in Tacoma and from the University of Washington with a degree in forestry. She worked at Naval Facilities Engineering at Bangor. She was a loving and loyal friend to many. She was an avid gardener as seen in her yard and annual flower baskets. She took great delight in animals of any kind but especially her beloved dog Emma. Her friends and family will miss her gourmet dinners, home-made cookies and hospitality.
She is survived by her sisters, Anita Lammert and Joyce Lammert, brother-in-law Ross Radley, nieces Lindsey McReynolds (Jamie) and Meredith Lammert Radley, her great-nephew Radley McReynolds and her X-husband Charles Ranes.
A service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Tacoma at 11:30 am on Jan. 31, 2014, followed by a reception at the Pagoda at Point Defiance Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Tacoma.
