Born Oct. 7, 1911 at Mt. Hermon, CA to August and Ellen Waite. Lived in Felton, CA until she married her husband Arthur Dofflemyre in 1933, they lived at a logging camp until the older of her two daughters reached school age and then moved back to Felton. Her daughters are Doreen Saffeels of Kingman, AZ and Arta Lou Kennedy of Gig Harbor, WA. She and her husband moved to Gig Harbor after retirement in 1976. After 52 years of marriage her husband died Sept. 1985. She is survived by her daughters; six grandchildren: Jim Saffeels, Mary Smith, Janeen Welsh, Chris Saffeels, Patrick Kennedy and Miki Carter; ten great-grandchildren: Tim, Rob and Rick Saffeels, Scott Nichols, and Bryan, Joshua and Shelby Kennedy, Tyler Smith, Dori Smith and Jeff Welsh; and four great-great grandchildren: Haylee Nichols, Theo Smith and Nora and Toby Saffeels.
