Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donald Cole can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Life Story for Donald Cole

Donald  Cole
Donald Eugene Cole passed away from his life on earth to be with The Lord Jesus Christ for eternity on Sept 10th, 2016 at the age of 71. He was happily married for 43 years to his wife Lilly and dearly loved his family, extended family and his Hawaii Ohana family. He was born on October 4th 1944 in Lebanon Missouri. Gene enjoyed traveling the world and being by the ocean. He had an insatiable love for reading and learning. He was a wonderful storyteller and conversationalist. Gene could strike up a conversation with a stranger and have a friend for life. He had diverse interests and was a real entrepreneur who started many business ventures and wasn't afraid to follow through on his creative passions. His humor and larger than life personality will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife Elia "Lilly" Santa Cruz-Cole; son David Cole; granddaughter Chaise Cole; mother Frances McGehee; stepfather Andy McGehee; sister Twila Hillme; brother-in-law Dwayne Hillme; sister Melva Cole; nephew Ryan Cole, uncle Lonnie Brown; aunt Ruth Brown; sister-in-law Rosalinda Santa Cruz-Brink; sister-in-law Norma Santa Cruz.

A celebration of life service shall be at Brooklake Community Church 629 S 356th St. Federal Way, WA 98003, on September 16th 2016 from 4-6pm.
