Brenda Jo Shangula was born on March 18, 1961 in Minot, ND to Joseph and Myrna Gavett and passed away at the age of 52 on February 19, 2014 at Tacoma General Hospital at 8:16 pm surrounded by family.
She is survived by her parents and siblings: Lori, Joseph and Heidi; her children: Christopher, Robert and Lindsey; four grandchildren: Zachary, Kyler, Micah and Michael; her nephews: Michael Murphy, Andrew Gnirk and Isiah Johnson; her nieces: Erin Murphy-Ortiz and Kayla Jackson (Johnson); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved family dog, Charlie.

A Celebration of Life Services to be held at a later date.
