Obituary for Warren William Levenhagen

Warren Levenhagen

He was born in Tacoma Washington on January 4th, 1944, and passed away February 1st, 2023, peacefully at his home with his family after bravely battling cancer for 22 years.

He grew up attending school and playing sports in Olympia, before moving on to play baseball and earn his degree at Western Washington University. He then went on to teach and coach at various schools, most of that time in the Highline School District. In 1993 he was awarded a KCTS Golden Apple teaching award for building an Observatory with his students at Tyee High School.

Warren enjoyed coaching and playing baseball, football, softball, and bowling. A passionate Seattle sports fan, he also loved woodworking, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. Most of all he enjoyed his activities with family and friends!

He is survived by Paula, his wife of 50 years, 2 sons and their families that he was so proud of. He was the G.O.A.T. “Bup-Bup” to his 4 grandchildren.

A celebration of Warren’s life to be scheduled for April 2nd 2023 from 1:30pm - 3:30pm At Pioneer Park Pavilion 330 S Meridian Puyallup, WA.
