Troy R Kendall

Troy Kendall was born on a ranch in Prescott, AZ, to Geri & Ken Kendall, on December 7, 1962.
He passed away peacefully at home, February 24, 2024 in Spanaway, WA.

Troy joined the Army in 1982, after high school graduation and attending college in Prescott, AZ.

After leaving Fort Lewis in 1989, he decided to stay in the Tacoma area. He started a new career as an apprentice framer with a local businessman in Lakewood, WA. He quickly moved from an apprentice to head of production.

Troy enjoyed country-western dancing and was very good at it. He was on a dancing team and they won top awards in the Canadian finals.

It was during that time that he met the love of his life, Lois. They were married in 1993.

Troy had a daughter from a previous marriage, Lindsey.

After framing pictures, he moved on to be a Security Guard at the local hospital for over 15 years.

Troy had many talents. He was excellent at making ink pens. He was known as the “PEN GUY”.

He also made many amazing things mainly out of different types of wood.

Troy was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and sister, Kelli.

He is survived by his wife, Lois. His daughter Lindsey and granddaughter, Caroline, 3 brothers, Shawn, Kern (Connie) and Kim (Nancy) and 2 sisters, Tami (Harold) and Jodie (HL). He was a great Step Father, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He also leaves a host of friends and family to love and cherish his memory.

Troy loved life and le loved God.

We loved him and will miss him so much.
