Obituary for Stephen Wesley Scamihorn

On Tuesday, September 10th, 2019, Stephen (Steve) Wesley Scamihorn, loving father, son, brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32.
Stephen was born on October 15th, 1986 in Terre Haute, IN but spent his childhood in Washington State. In 2005 Stephen joined the United States Army, as an Infantryman with the Bravo Company 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment. He served 4 years doing a 15 month tour overseas and exiting as a decorated Corporal. Post military he studied at the University of Texas where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He realized he had a natural talent and love for Digital Marketing Operations and Automation. His aptitude quickly made him an expert and paired with his character made him highly revered in his field.
Stephen's greatest joy came from being a loving father and family man. He had an infectious personality and an unforgettable smile. He was the life of the party, could make anyone laugh and he never met a stranger. He was also one of the most benevolent, generous people on earth and was the first to help a friend or family member in need. He enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, hunting, hiking, camping – especially along the Olympic Peninsula Coastline in the Pacific Northwest. He was an avid reader and also had a passion for music – with a vast and eclectic taste in genre and greatly enjoyed going to live shows.
He leaves behind his son, Logan Wesley Scamihorn, mother Teressa Jones (Clifton Fredrick), father Robert Scamihorn, sister Bobbi Roudani (Amine Roudani), half-sister Brandi Rooksberry, and grandmother Sharon Jones; as well as many members of his large family including many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Benjamin Jones, grandmother Dixie Scamihorn, grandfather James Scamihorn, and several brothers in arms.
