Ruth Alexander passed away peacefully on April 2, 2019 at age 81. In her professional life, Ruth had educational degrees in Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration. She completed many years working in the chemical industry, where she could clean anything from egg washing plants to grease pits. Later she developed her own landscaping business and provided consultations as a Master Gardener. She loved all things in nature. No plants ever perished under her care. She loved all animals and had many feline friends. She volunteered at a cat shelter and helped animals whenever possible. She possessed some interesting talents, such as being able to sew without a pattern and cook without precise measuring. Her favorite places usually had a beach. Ruth is pre-deceased by her husband, Lee Alexander, and is survived by her two children (Linda Thomas and Sam Alexander), five grandchildren (Travis, Heather, Bram, Spenser and Kennith) and two great-grandchildren (Charlotte and Amelia).
