Richard's story began on September 14, 1962 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He had a long battle with kidney disease, and took his final breath on May 15, 2021 in Puyallup, WA. Richard was a devoted family man who didn't shy away from hard work. He had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed fishing (especially with his grandchildren), camping, finding treasures at garage sales, tending to his yard, watching his grandchildren play hockey, and was also a lover of family pets.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mandie; children, Christina (Nick) and Phillip (Amanda) ; grandchildren, Jordan, Kayden Olivia, Parker, and Peyton; and his sister Phyllis.
Funeral services will be held on June 24th at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, WA. A reception of continued remembrance will follow church service at The Johnson's in Edgewood, WA..
