Obituary for Jesse Hentz

Jesse "Jae" Hentz was born Feb. 26, 1983 in Bremerton, WA. He was raised on the Kitsap Peninsula and graduated from Olympic High School, where he was involved in DECA, gymnastics, and the cheerleading squad. Jae was passionate in everything he did and gave his heart and soul to dancing, music, the culinary world, friends, family, and his faith. After high school, Jae moved to Seattle where he lived for many years, being involved in the dance community and food industry. Eventually, he moved to Tacoma and was working on promoting his new production business. When Jae wasn't dancing or working, he was usually with his friends or family. His loved ones meant the world to him and he frequently called to check in on everyone in his life.

The world truly lost someone special when Jae left this earth. He was kind, caring, and a force to be reckoned with. Jae always lit up the room and made his presence known. He was magnetic, compassionate, and outspoken, never hiding his feelings of either discontent or happiness.

Jae is survived by his mother Cindy Hentz, his brother Jeff Hentz, a nephew Adam Hentz, grandmother Darlene Boggess, as well as aunts, an uncle, and many cousins who loved him dearly. Jae was met in heaven by his grandfather, Richard Boggess, and his nephew, Jeffery "JJ Hentz.

Jae's family will be having an open gathering for anyone who would like to join at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard on May 14, 2021, at 12:15pm. All who loved Jae are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

"I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners." -Isaiah 57:18
