Gilbert Allan Fetzner, 73, of Gig Harbor, WA passed away peacefully on July 1 st , 2021.
Gilbert was predeceased by his parents, George and Alice. He is survived by his two children,
Matthew (Katie) and Jessica (Matt); and his three grandchildren, Alexandra, Willa, and Elaina;
and his brother, Ken (Mary Ann) and sister, Barbara (Grant); and former spouses, Jan and
Diane.
Gil was born in New Jersey and lived in many different places throughout his life, but Gig Harbor
was his home for over 21 years and the place we believe he loved the most. He had a
successful sales career at Corning Medical, Hewlett-Packard, and Agilent Technologies before
retiring in 2014. A common bond he had with many was his love of sports especially the
University of Michigan and the Seahawks. He loved boating and taking trips with family and
friends especially to the San Juan Islands. He always loved a great meal and visiting specific
restaurants was a passion of his as it led to him being a rather good cook himself. He was a
lover of animals but specifically dogs as he had many through the years.
Gil was loved by his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone. There will not be a
funeral service but a celebration of Gil’s life at a later date.
