Obituary for Darrol Scott Swensrud
Darrol's shining, loving eyes shut and a golden heart stopped beating after a short valiant battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease. He won the fight! He is free!!! Darrol is now with his father, Carl Swensrud, and other family members who went before him.
He was a loving, kind hearted son, father, brother and uncle. Darrol loved his family and looked forward to family gatherings. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and time at Copalis Beach. Also cooking and socializing with friends. He enjoyed having fun, laughing and sharing memories with everyone. Darrol had a great sense of humor. He was the trivia king! Darrol was a hard worker. He was proud to be a Boeing employee and made many friendships while there. Darrol will be deeply missed by his mother Pat Olson, Dad Bob Olson, son Bill Wheeler, brothers, Bryan Swensrud (sister-in-law, Niki), Robbie Olson, Shawn Swensrud (sister-in-law Bonnie), niece Alysha Prince, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends. Also best buddie Mike Curtis.
