Obituary for Christine D Ripley

Our mom was the second oldest of six children to Nicholas and Luella Riggio.

Born and raised in Tacoma WA, she graduated from Wilson High School in 1966 and attended UPS after high school. She was in child education and childcare until she retired.

Although she was a wonderful and loving mother of five, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, mom will mostly be remembered as “Grandma Chris”. She loved all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than life itself and it seemed like she always had at least one them with her at all times.

She was of course a great cook and baker. Everything was homemade! Homemade sauces, jams, breads,
cookies, pies, cakes and of course her famous pizza. Pizza Fridays at her house is something we will all
miss terribly. She loved old muscle cars and always looked forward to the summer car shows, with her
grandchildren in tow of course.

Mom is survived by her brothers Murray (Carol) Riggio and Joe (Connie) Riggio, her sisters Sharon
Boulware, Pam (Bob) Thomsen and Carmela Riggio, her sons Paul (Sarah) Ripley, James (Afton) Ripley,
Brian (Alisa) Ripley and Scott Meyers, her daughter Mary (Josh) Winski, her grandchildren Nicole, Emily,
Paul Jr. (Bubby), Cody, Zac, Conner, Lela, Kyla, Anna, Jonathan, Zoey and Jameson, her great-
grandchildren Aaliyah and Blaine and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial at a later date when we can all gather together to celebrate her.
Mom was loved by so many people and we all know she will be missed dearly by everyone.

We are so grateful for all of our family and friends love and support.
