On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Benet Jordan, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 58.
Benet was born in Tacoma, Washington to Ernest and Elizabeth (Hecker) Sylvia. She graduated from Fife High School and continued on to raise her children Eric, Kristine, and Silas. She was with her husband Leslie Jordan for over thirty years.
Benet was known for her ingenuity and her candor, she was one of a kind. She was a generous person, even if her gifting would leave her without. She had a passion for helping those in need, especially children. She also took pride in caring for and doting on her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Ernest, her mother Elizabeth, and her sister Michaela. She is survived by her husband Leslie, her children Eric (Katherine), Kristine (David), and Silas, her stepchildren Anthony, Byron, Aprile, and Cimberly, her siblings Ernest, Paulette, Darrel, and Robert, her six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma, Washington. A Celebration of her Life will be held shortly after, please contact the family for details. Flowers or donations can be sent to 16631 SE 171st Pl, Renton, WA 98058.
