HOW TO PLACE A MEMORIAL DONATION

You may choose to make a donation in memory of a loved one, with our 'Memorial Donations'.  Tacoma Mausoleum and Mortuary will place a card for the family to whom a donation was placed

Our Online Donation Form makes placing a donation very convenient to family and friends of the deceased. Once you have chosen to place a donation, you will be required to complete a series of steps to place a donation. Below is a step-by-step guide to placing a memorial donation

Step 1. Select the Online Tribute Funeral Record to whom you wish to place a donation.

Step 2. Select 'Place a Donation' from the menu selection, as shown below.

Step 3. Once you have selected 'Place a Donation', you will be asked to select a charity                 from a list to which the family has chosen to have donation made. Select the name             of the charity you wish to donate to, by clicking on the corresponding button beside             the charity name, or you may select a charity of your choice. Once you have made             your selection click 'Continue' to proceed to the next step.
 

Step 4. As we continue to on to the next step, shown below, you will be required                             to complete a few details in regards to placing a donation.  At the top of this form             we see the charity which you have selected. You must then complete the amount             to you wish to contribute, and your personal contact information. You may elect to             go back to the previous screen to select a different charity, or continue to place                 your donation.

Step 5. Once this is form is complete you will receive a printable confirmation page,
            (shown below) which includes the Final Instructions for your donation.  Please print
            this page, to mail along with your cheque, payable to the selected charity, to the
            address shown on your page.

A message will appear in the view condolences page indicating that you have placed an online donation.  It will not show the amount that you have contributed to the charity in memory of the deceased.
