Obituary for Kenneth Moore

Ken Moore passed away at his home in Tacoma on February 10, 2017, at the age of 57. He was born on January 6, 1960 in Nampa, Idaho the second son of Roy Moore and Carole (Moore) Richmond. He moved to Washington in 1962 and attended school in the Edmonds School District. He married Lori Ridgers on May 9, 1981. After working many years at Boeing, he went to work for Sequoia, doing fiber optics and teaching. His many interests included running, hiking, and his grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his wife Lori, his daughter Kimberly Rassmussen (Bobby), his son Justin Moore (Sarah) and grandchildren, Mckenzy, Hailie, Peyton, Hunter, Lila, and Logan. He is also survived by his parents Roy Moore (Edie), Carole (Moore) Richmond (Richard). His brother Randy Moore (JoDee).

Ken is predeceased by his brother Donald Moore on September 23, 2012.

Services will be held on February 25, 2017 at 1:00pm, at the Tacoma First Nazarene Church, located at 3640 S M St., Tacoma, WA 98418. 253-475-5340

Pastor Tony Johnson will officiate the service.
A reception in honor of Ken's life will be held at Allenmore Golf Course, 2125 S Cedar St., Tacoma, WA following the service.
